The Caretakers Cottage project involved the fitout of a heritage-listed building into one of Melbourne’s most acclaimed boutique bars. Located within the Wesley Place precinct, the project required sensitive construction methods to preserve the heritage fabric while introducing a high-end hospitality interior.

Westmark worked in close consultation with the design team and the Australian Heritage Council to ensure all works were non-invasive and sympathetic to the original structure. The venue now includes a commercial kitchen, custom-built bar, acoustic ceilings, high-spec sound system, bespoke finishes, and heritage-sensitive detailing throughout. This project exemplifies Westmark’s ability to work within heritage constraints, delivering premium hospitality outcomes without compromising the integrity of the original building.
