House Extension/Apartment Building
The Shipley Street project stands as Westmark’s most ambitious and structurally complex residential build to date. It involved the complete renovation and vertical extension of an existing two-storey residence, incorporating the addition of a third level, a new lift shaft, and a full internal reconfiguration across all floors.
Major works included propping and coring through the existing suspended slab to form the lift void, demolition and excavation for the lift base, and the construction of core-filled blockwork within a highly constrained footprint. Delivered within the client’s strict six-month lease timeline, the project highlights Westmark’s expertise in precise scheduling, innovative problem-solving, and seamless execution.
